One thing that gets easy to remember is that the craving will pass. Cravings always pass. Usually the craving passes within five minutes. As long as I don’t give in to it, I’m home free.
Someone once told me there are three big threes to quitting smoking. The first three days are the hardest. Then the first three weeks. Finally the first three months. I’m almost at the three week mark.
I’m pretty certain I’ve done it. But time will tell. I’ll keep you all informed.

I'm really glad you're taking the step to quit smoking. And I know it's really hard, but I hope you stick with it. It's good to see you blogging again as well. Welcome back.

Let me tell you--even seven years later, I still have the occasional craving. (Usually only when I'm extremely drunk; consequently they're very infrequent.) The cravings never stop, but yeah, they get more infrequent, and they always go away. Hope your Day 23 (when I'm posting this) has been a successful and smokefree one.
